What is Zayos and what does it do for my restaurant? +
Zayos is commission-free online ordering for independent restaurants. You get an ordering website on your own domain, a customer list you own, loyalty, and one kitchen tablet that shows direct orders next to your DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub orders. You keep 100% of the food revenue and 100% of the tips on direct orders. Zayos is built and run by Zay Revenue Group in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
How much does Zayos cost per month? +
Three plans, all per location per month, month to month with no contract and no setup fee: Operator at $499, Operator + Marketplace at $599, Concierge at $699. The only per-order charge is a service fee the diner pays at checkout: $0.99 pickup, $2.99 delivery, $0 dine-in, 10% catering. The restaurant never pays it.
Do I have to drop DoorDash and Uber Eats to use Zayos? +
No, and most owners should not. Keep the apps for discovery, where a stranger finds you the first time. Use Zayos to move your regulars to direct, where the margin is. On the $599 plan the marketplace orders land on the same tablet and in the same reporting, so you can finally see both channels side by side.
Will my kitchen have to learn a new system? +
No. Direct orders route through Otter, the order aggregation service that already puts every delivery app on one tablet. If you run Otter today, a Zayos ticket looks like every other ticket on that screen. If you do not run Otter, we set it up during onboarding.
How long until I am live and taking orders? +
Most restaurants are live in under 2 weeks and take their first direct order within a week of signing up. Days 1 to 3 are the menu and brand build, days 4 to 7 are payments, sales tax and the kitchen tablet, and week 2 is pointing your QR codes, Google Business Profile and social links at your own site.
How much money would this actually save me? +
It depends on your volume and your current commission rate, so start with your own numbers. Naya Grill in Pompano Beach and West Palm Beach keeps $48k+ per year that used to go to commissions. Modeled at 3,000 to 12,000 orders a month, a restaurant keeps $48,000 to $300,000+ per location per year. The free report at grader.zay-os.com does the math on your real ticket average.
What if direct ordering is not right for my restaurant? +
Then we will say so. If you have very few repeat customers and every order today comes from marketplace discovery, direct ordering pays off more slowly, because the habit has to be built before it can be harvested. Restaurants with an existing base of regulars see the fastest return.
