What does Zayos do for a restaurant?

Zayos puts online ordering on your own site, so a regular who already knows your food orders from you and not through a marketplace (an app such as DoorDash, Uber Eats or Grubhub that lists your menu and keeps a commission). This is what ships today.

    Pickup, delivery and catering on your own branded site. No commission on food.

  • Delivery

    We book a courier for each delivery order. You do not need your own drivers.

  • POS integration

    Orders go into Clover, Square or Shift4 at no extra cost. Toast works too, and Toast bills its own $50 a month fee.

  • One kitchen tablet

    On the $499 Operator + Tablet plan, DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub orders arrive in one feed with your direct orders.

  • Email and SMS marketing

    Email campaigns and text campaigns to your own list, plus email automations: welcome, abandoned cart, birthday, second order and win-back. SMS marketing is included. We set it up with you when you want it, because US carriers require each restaurant's texts to be registered before marketing messages can go out. Until then, order-update texts work from day one.

  • Loyalty, gift cards, promo codes

    Points on every order, gift cards sold and redeemed online, and promo codes with your limits.

Is it spelled Zayos, Zay-OS, or Zay OS?

All three are the same product. Zayos is the one-word spelling, Zay-OS is the wordmark in the logo, and Zay OS is the two-word form. The official site is zay-os.com. In Arabic it is written زايوس or زاي او اس, and there is an Arabic version of this site.

Is Zayos the same as Zayo Group or zayos.com?

No. Zayo Group (zayo.com) is a fiber and telecom company in Colorado. Zayos is not Zayo Group and has nothing to do with network infrastructure. Restaurants are live on Zayos and taking direct orders today, including Farooj Abo Alabed, Melt N Dip, Syrian Shawarma, Bella Roma NY Pizza and Naya Grill. Each one runs on its own domain, so you can open it and see the product as a diner does.

Does Zayos work with my POS?
Yes for Clover, Square and Shift4, at no extra cost on every plan. A POS is the point-of-sale system your register runs on. Toast works too, but Toast bills the restaurant its own $50 a month integration fee. That fee is Toast's, not ours.
