Pricing questions, answered.

How much does Zay-OS cost?
Zayos has three monthly plans, all month-to-month with no setup fee. Operator is $399/month per location (branded ordering site, POS integration, customer CRM, DAVO sales-tax set-aside, SEO + GEO). Operator + Tablet is $499/month per location and adds Uber Eats + DoorDash + Grubhub ingestion via Otter. Concierge is $599/month per location (up to 5 virtual brands per kitchen included). Prefer to pay $0 monthly as the business? There is also a revenue-share option: no monthly fee, and Zayos takes 10% of sales through the platform instead.
What is the per-order fee, and who pays it?
Direct online orders carry a small flat service fee paid by the diner at checkout: $0.99 for pickup, $0.99 for delivery, and $0 for dine-in. Catering orders have a 10% service fee instead. The restaurant never pays it and keeps 100% of the food revenue. We are not a marketplace and we take no commission on orders or tips.
How much does Zay-OS save vs running on DoorDash and Uber Eats?
A busy single-location restaurant doing about 100 orders a day at a $35 average ticket saves about $48,000 per year by routing repeat customers to direct ordering instead of paying 25-35% commissions. Around 200 orders a day it is $120,000+, and a multi-brand kitchen doing 400 a day across its brands saves $300,000+ per location per year. The free grader at grader.zay-os.com runs the math against your actual numbers.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. Every Zayos plan is month-to-month. Cancel any time. You own your domain, your customer list, and your order history, all exportable at any time. We never ransom your data.
Do I have to drop DoorDash and Uber Eats to use Zay-OS?
No. The marketplaces stay for discovery. On the Operator + Tablet tier, Otter ingests Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub orders into the same kitchen tablet as your direct orders. You decide how much of your volume you steer toward direct ordering over time.
What POS systems does Zay-OS work with?
Through Otter, Zayos connects to 25+ POS systems including Toast, Lightspeed U, Square for Restaurants, and Clover. If your POS is exotic, the kitchen tablet runs as a standalone flow so you are never left out. Tell us your POS before you sign and we will confirm.
How long does setup take?
Most restaurants are live and taking direct orders in under a week. Full marketplace ingestion through Otter follows inside two weeks. The full timeline (Day 1, Week 1, Weeks 2-3) is on the how-it-works page.
What payment methods can my diners use?
All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Apple Pay, and Google Pay at checkout. Stripe processes every payment — Zay-OS never touches a card number. PCI scope stays with Stripe.
