How much does Flipdish cost, and what does Zayos charge?

Published July 2026 · Updated July 26, 2026

Quick answer

Flipdish publishes US plans at $149 a month for the website, $249 with a mobile app, and $99 for a self service kiosk, dropping to $119, $199 and $79 billed annually. Setup fees, hardware and card processing rates are quoted separately, not published.

What is on the pricing page

What are Flipdish’s published plan prices?

Read live from flipdish.com/us/pricing on 26 July 2026. Flipdish publishes its plan prices in both billing modes, which puts it ahead of most of this category on transparency.

Plan Billed monthly Billed annually Detail
Website $149 / month $119 / month Billed annually the plan is listed at $1,428 a year. Includes menu management, loyalty and retention, reporting and analytics, and integrated payments.
Website and mobile app $249 / month $199 / month Billed annually the plan is listed at $2,388 a year. Everything in Website plus third party delivery integration.
Self service kiosk $99 / month $79 / month Billed annually the plan is listed at $948 a year. Same core feature list. Kiosk hardware is an extra cost that the pricing page does not quantify.

Flipdish shows annual prices as "from" figures. The pricing page also notes there may be upfront costs for hardware and implementation, and offers to spread setup and hardware fees over monthly instalments. Flipdish’s UK price list is separate, quoted in sterling and stated per site.

The easy arithmetic

What is the annual discount actually worth?

Website
$360
Saved a year by paying annually. $149 down to $119 a month.
Website and app
$600
Saved a year. $249 down to $199 a month, listed as $2,388 for the year.
Kiosk
$240
Saved a year. $99 down to $79 a month, before hardware.

The discount is a consistent 20% across all three plans, which is generous by category standards. The reason it deserves a hard look is in the next section: Flipdish’s published terms commit you to twelve months either way, so paying monthly usually buys you a higher price rather than an exit.

The part that is not on the pricing page

How long are you committed for?

Every line below comes from Flipdish’s own published US terms and conditions, read on 26 July 2026. None of it appears on the pricing page.

Initial term
12 months. Flipdish’s terms state the agreement "starts on the Effective Date and continues for 12 months, unless as otherwise stated in the Client Agreement".
Renewal
Automatic, in further 12 month periods. There is no month to month option in the published terms.
Notice to leave
Three months, in writing, before the end of the initial term or any renewal term. Miss the window and you are in for another full year.
Setup fee
Chargeable. The terms state an initial set-up fee for activation and set-up applies to each initial provisioning of the services, and that cancellation fees may apply if an activation is cancelled. The amount is not published.
Price changes
The terms allow fees to be varied at any time, acting reasonably, and describe an annual adjustment of up to 5% of your processing rate at renewal unless you sign a new agreement with fresh rates.
How you get paid
Flipdish settles the total card sales it processed for the period "less commission, charges and fees payable to us". Your fees come out of the money before it reaches your bank, rather than as a separate invoice.
Put this in your calendar on day one

Sign on 1 September 2026 and your initial term ends on 31 August 2027. Because notice is three months in writing, your decision date is 31 May 2027, not August. An operator who starts thinking about switching in July has already renewed for another full year without meaning to. Set the reminder the same afternoon you sign, and set it for eight months out, not eleven.

The variable line

What does Flipdish charge to process a card?

In the United States, Flipdish does not publish it. The pricing page says Flipdish handles all debit and credit card processing and describes the rates as transparent with no hidden fees, but it does not print a number. In the United Kingdom, Flipdish does publish one: its own payments article states a rate of 1.4% plus 10p for in store card processing. That is a sterling rate in a UK context and it should not be read across to a US quote. If you are shopping Flipdish in the States, treat processing as an unpublished figure and ask for a written rate card.

Two clauses turn that ask into a must. First, Flipdish settles your card sales net of its commission, charges and fees, so the money arrives already reduced and you will not see a separate monthly invoice to check the rate against. Second, the terms describe an annual adjustment of up to 5% of your processing rate at renewal unless a new agreement with updated rates is signed. A rate you never wrote down is a rate you will not notice drifting.

Flipdish’s UK price list is worth knowing about if you operate on both sides of the Atlantic, because the packaging is different. The UK Essential Package bundles point of sale with online ordering at £119 a month billed annually per site, or £139 a month billed monthly excluding VAT, where the US list splits website, app and kiosk into separate plans.

Fit, both ways

Who should buy Flipdish, and where does Zayos fit?

Flipdish is the right call if

You want a proper branded mobile app and self service kiosks, your ordering volume is steady enough that a twelve month term is not frightening, and $199 a month for website plus app is comfortable. Flipdish is strong on kiosk led quick service and it publishes real plan prices, which is more than several better known names in this category manage.

Zayos is priced for

$499 Operator, $599 Operator plus Marketplace, $699 Concierge, per location per month, no setup fee, month to month. No initial term, no auto renewal and no notice period, so the only thing keeping you is whether it works. Most operators are live in under two weeks and take their first direct order within a week of signing up.

The diner pays the checkout fee

$0.99 pickup, $2.99 delivery, $0 dine in, 10% on catering, all paid by the guest. The restaurant never pays it, keeps 100% of food revenue and 100% of tips, and nothing is netted out of settlement before it reaches the bank.

Marketplace tickets at $599

Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub orders come through Otter onto the same kitchen tablet as direct orders. Marketplace commission runs 15% to 30% base and 25% to 35% as a blended real cost once delivery, marketing and processing stack, which is exactly the money a direct channel exists to win back.

There is no calendar reminder to set with Zayos, because there is no initial term, no automatic renewal and no notice period. Naya Grill, in Pompano Beach and West Palm Beach, is live and taking orders on it today and keeps $48k or more a year that used to leave as marketplace commission. Zayos is made in Fort Lauderdale, Florida by Zay Revenue Group.

Straight answers

Flipdish cost questions, answered.

How much does Flipdish cost per month?
Per Flipdish’s published US pricing page, accessed 26 July 2026, the Website plan is $149 a month, Website and mobile app is $249 a month, and the self service kiosk plan is $99 a month. Billed annually those become $119, $199 and $79 a month, listed as $1,428, $2,388 and $948 a year. Hardware and implementation carry additional upfront costs that the page does not quantify.
Is Flipdish a 12 month contract?
Yes, under its published terms and conditions. The agreement runs for an initial term of 12 months and then renews automatically for further 12 month periods. To leave, you have to give written notice at least three months before the end of the current term. That is the single most important Flipdish cost fact and it is not on the pricing page.
Is the annual Flipdish plan worth it?
The annual discount is consistent and real: about 20% on all three plans. Website drops from $149 to $119 a month, which is $360 a year. Website and app drops from $249 to $199, which is $600 a year. The kiosk drops from $99 to $79, which is $240 a year. Since the published terms commit you to 12 months either way, an operator who has decided on Flipdish is usually paying more for the monthly billing option without buying more freedom with it.
What does Flipdish charge to process a card?
Flipdish does not publish a US card processing rate. Its US pricing page says it handles all debit and credit card processing at transparent rates with no hidden fees, without stating them. Its UK payments article does publish a rate of 1.4% plus 10p for in store card processing, which is a sterling figure in a UK context and should not be assumed to apply in the United States. Ask for your rate card in writing, and read clause 4.10 on the annual adjustment of up to 5%.
How does Flipdish compare to Zayos on cost?
Flipdish is cheaper per month and asks for a year. Zayos is $499, $599 or $699 per location per month with no setup fee and no minimum term, so you can leave at the end of any month without a notice period. Flipdish’s published plans are $149, $249 or $99 a month, plus an unpublished setup fee, plus hardware, on a 12 month auto renewing term with three months notice. Zayos also charges the diner rather than the restaurant, at $0.99 pickup, $2.99 delivery, $0 dine in and 10% on catering, and the restaurant keeps 100% of food revenue and tips. If a branded app and a kiosk are what you need and you are happy to commit for a year, Flipdish is a strong product at a lower monthly number.
