◆ North Las Vegas, NV · Onboarding

Zayos is built for the half of the valley that never sees a tourist.

Quick answer

Zayos gives North Las Vegas restaurants commission free ordering on their own branded site, at any hour. The restaurant keeps 100% of food revenue and tips, marketplace tickets route to the same kitchen tablet, and plans are flat at $499 to $699 per location monthly.

Free, no card, about 60 seconds.

Why is North Las Vegas not the same market as the Strip?

Because almost nothing about the Strip playbook applies here. North Las Vegas is a separate incorporated city of roughly 280,000 residents, and its economy is warehousing, distribution, light manufacturing, the speedway, and a fast growing base of master planned housing in Aliante and Craig Ranch. Your customer is not a visitor with a per diem who will never come back. Your customer lives four miles away and could order from you every week for the next decade.

That distinction is the whole economic argument. A marketplace is a discovery machine, and discovery is worth paying for once. Paying 25% to 35% blended, forever, on a neighbor who already knows your name is not discovery, it is rent. On Zayos those repeat orders come through your own site at zero commission to you, and the diner pays a flat service fee at checkout: $0.99 pickup, $2.99 delivery, $0 dine in, 10% catering.

Growth makes it sharper still. North Las Vegas has added housing faster than most of the valley, and a household that just moved into Aliante or Craig Ranch is choosing its regular spots right now, in its first few months. Winning that household through a marketplace means paying a percentage on every order they will ever place. Winning it through your own site means paying nothing after the first one, and having a way to reach them directly when you add a new item or run a slow Tuesday.

The second thing that separates this city is the clock.

What hours does North Las Vegas actually order in?

Not the ones a dinner focused delivery app is optimized around. This is a shift work city, and the demand curve has four peaks instead of one.

4am to 8am

Warehouse and distribution starts

Apex and the north valley industrial corridor clock in before dawn. Breakfast burritos, coffee, pre shift plates.

11am to 2pm

The only conventional rush you get

Office and trade lunch around Craig Road and Cheyenne. Highest ticket density, heaviest app competition.

6pm to 10pm

Family dinner in the master plans

Aliante, Craig Ranch, Eldorado. Large household orders, the ones a percentage fee taxes hardest.

11pm to 4am

Graveyard, and almost nobody serves it

Casino back of house, hospital staff, freight. Real demand, thin driver coverage, and the hours marketplaces price worst.

Your own ordering site does not care what time it is and does not need a courier to be online to take money. That is why the graveyard window is where direct ordering wins hardest in this city: real demand, thin marketplace driver coverage, and a pickup order that costs the diner ninety nine cents.

What does Zayos cost if I run several brands out of one kitchen?

North Las Vegas has the cheap square footage and the highway access that make delivery only kitchens work, and plenty of operators here run more than one concept out of one hood. Concierge is $699 per location per month and covers up to five virtual brands from that kitchen. Billing stays per location, not per brand. Operator is $499 and Operator plus Marketplace is $599, all month to month with no setup fee.

One thing we will be straight about: Zayos is built and run by Zay Revenue Group, a Fort Lauderdale, Florida company, and we serve North Las Vegas from Florida. We have no Nevada customers and no Nevada office. The only restaurant live and taking orders on Zayos today is Naya Grill, across two South Florida locations, where direct ordering keeps more than $48,000 a year that used to go out as commission. Onboarding is remote, and most operators are live in under two weeks.

North Las Vegas operator questions.

Is any North Las Vegas restaurant on Zayos today?
No. Zayos is made by Zay Revenue Group, a Fort Lauderdale, Florida company, and we serve North Las Vegas from Florida. There is no Nevada office and no local rep. Naya Grill, in Pompano Beach and West Palm Beach, is the only restaurant live and taking orders on Zayos right now. Onboarding runs remotely and is open to North Las Vegas operators today.
Is North Las Vegas really a different market from the Strip?
Completely. North Las Vegas is its own incorporated city of roughly 280,000 people, with its own mayor and its own economy: distribution and light industry in the north, master planned housing in Aliante and Craig Ranch, and older neighborhoods along Las Vegas Boulevard North. Tourists are not your customer base here. Locals and shift workers are, and locals reorder. A repeat customer is exactly the customer it makes no sense to keep renting from a marketplace.
Does Zayos work for a restaurant that is open overnight?
Yes, and overnight is where direct ordering has the biggest edge. Marketplace driver supply thins out badly after midnight, so promised windows stretch and orders get reassigned while you still pay the same percentage. Your own ordering site never closes and never depends on a courier being online. Pickup orders after midnight cost the diner $0.99 and cost the restaurant nothing.
I run more than one brand out of one kitchen. How does that price?
The Concierge plan is $699 per location per month and includes up to five virtual brands out of that kitchen. It is still billed per location, not per brand, which is the whole point: a delivery only concept that shares a hood and a walk in should not multiply your software bill. Each brand gets its own branded ordering site and its own menu, and every ticket lands on the same kitchen tablet.
What do the delivery apps actually cost per order?
Base commission runs 15% to 30%. Blended, once delivery, marketing and processing fees stack, the real cost typically sits between 25% and 35% of each order. On a $32 ticket at a 25% blended rate that is $8 gone before you cook anything. Zayos charges the restaurant no commission at all and the diner pays a flat service fee at checkout.
Do I have to leave DoorDash and Uber Eats behind?
No. Keep them for discovery, especially for new residents in a fast growing city. On Operator plus Marketplace at $599 per location per month, Otter pulls DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub tickets into the same kitchen tablet as your Zayos direct orders. One queue for the line, and your repeat customers gradually move to the channel that costs you nothing.

Run the numbers before you decide.
